This testament witnesses before G-d, the Jewish community, family and friends, that _________ years ago, on the _______ day of the week, the _________ day of the month of___________ , in the year 57 __, corresponding to ____________, the holy covenant of marriage was entered into in ______________, between the groom _______________ and the bride________________ according to the laws and traditions of Moses and Israel. They joyfully reaffirm their commitment to each other saying: “As we celebrate this anniversary, we reflect upon our journey together as husband and wife. We have enjoyed laughter and wiped away tears and today we have every reason to applaud our accomplishments, both as partners and as individuals. May we continue to nurture each other’s growth with the mutual respect, support, and communication that is the foundation of our blessed marriage. There is still much to be learned and life to be lived and our pledge is to savor each moment that we share and new memory that we create. We have established a loving home within the community of Israel inspired and guided by Torah values and traditions. May our lives be embraced by warmth, peace and love and our hearts be filled with generosity of spirit toward each other and those around us. As the years pass, may we walk together hand in hand still feeling the sweetness of our devotion.”
